Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather customer and user requirements from each of our core market segments
  • Analyze and understand market trends, needs, and competitors
  • Define the business strategy for our social networking features, which enable consumers to seek and share information and support
  • Develop a roadmap that engages our current customers and expands our market
  • Design and drive requirements for our cross functional engineering, data, &design team, managing an agile backlog and lean process
  • Holistic product lifecycle management from conception and strategic planningthrough requirements definition, development, release, and post-release customer and channel support and satisfaction
  • Development, analysis, and sharing of key business and customer satisfaction metrics for your product area(s)
  • Competitive analysis and internal competitive education
  • Close collaboration with Marketing and Sales to drive pricing and positioning for your product(s)
  • Drive on time delivery of features and client implementations and coordinate any associated launch activities
  • Manage beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples
  • Ensure products meets business and customer needs and expectations within acceptable time frames
  • Create effective cross-functional relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Contribute to customer acquisition and retention marketing efforts
  • Evaluate the success of your features through rigorous user testing and analytics
  • Present successes and failures to senior management, identifying opportunities and areas for improvement

Property Manager

As Property Manager, you will be the mini CEO of your assigned brand/s. You will guide a team that is charged with a product line contribution as a business unit. This extends from increasing the profitability of existing products to developing new products for the company. You will build products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand their problems, and find innovative solutions for the broader market.

You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. You will work with marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer. You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product offering, occasionally working with the sales channel and key customers.

You will ensure achievement of strategic revenue objectives for a specific product or product family. The role plays a proactive role in product planning and design to ensure the product is differentiated from competitors. You are involved with the product throughout all stages of the life cycle (conception, definition, development, release, and post-release activities) and drives product strategy, product planning and marketing execution.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of software product management experience
  • Have experience building online communities / social networks
  • Combination of both technical and business acumen
  • Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success defining, launching, and maintaining successful products
  • Data-driven approach with strong analytical and cross-group collaboration skills to bring the organization to consensus on decisions on both short and long-term product plans
  • Can nail the basics: write exceptional user stories, sketch a wireframe,produce a roadmap, drive a release schedule, and keep yourself and everyone around you focused and organized.
