  • Write original copy for advertisements and custom experiences across the digital landscape, ensuring technical quality and consistent brand voice
  • Help our team craft sharp headlines and messaging concepts
  • Lead the content quality assurance of other team members’ work, including definition of shared editorial style and voice
  • Join brainstorms for a wide variety of business lines upon request
  • Fact-check text written by our own writers and business partners
  • Assist with business writing and editing when needed
  • Raise the bar on editorial content produced in our design organization


The Advertising and User Experience Design team at Hawk Group Media has an immediate need for an exceptional advertising copywriter with a proven eye for detail and an ear for compelling, customer-first messaging.

As our editorial expert, you will help Hawk Group Media create and execute web, mobile, and tablet ad experiences for Hawk Group Media and its wide array of marketing partners across multiple digital formats. From static and rich media banner campaigns to custom brand initiatives across web, mobile, and the popular Kindle platforms, you will provide digital marketing copy expertise. You have a relentless penchant for quality and you are drawn to an environment that’s equal parts digital agency and e-commerce giant.

You are also a strong leader who can define a program for editorial content within our advertising business. You will use your work across advertising campaigns to develop a comprehensive style and voice guide and help to define metrics that tell us whether our editorial content and voice are effective.

You love fast-paced environments and can generate original marketing text for dozens of different brands every day, and you can use those experiences to build a strong program for copy and editorial. Our offices are fast-paced, energetic, and results-driven, so strong interpersonal and time-management skills are a must; the ability to Work Hard, Have Fun, and Make History, essential.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 years of in-house or agency copywriting experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated – if you have to be or want to be told what to do everyday, do not apply.
  • Great analytical thinking and willingness to engage with metrics
  • Previous experience writing copy for advertising agencies or commercials
  • EXPERT in Word Press. NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • Thick Skinned. No sugar coated criticism here.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Writing, Communications or English
  • Experience in similar high-volume copywriting role
  • Demonstrated experience in tech industry, preferably consumer-focused
  • Script-writing a plus
  • Tirelessly high standards and attention to detail
  • A history of positive teamwork
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent business judgment
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and consistently deliver results despite competing priorities and distractions
